The Kia Optima is a midsize four-door sedan, Kia Motors since 2000 manufactured and marketed worldwide through various plates. The first generation cars have been marketed primarily as the Optima, but the name was Kia Magentis in Europe and Canada, where sales have started using in 2002 there. World for the second generation, used the name of Kia Lotze Kia K5 for the market and Kia in South Korea, and the name of the Magentis, except the U.S. and Malaysia, where they kept the name of Optima . Name Optima is now available for all markets except China, where it is used commercially in South Korea.
